More authentic flavour than jars. a little confused about (the translation of) one ingredient - is tomato purée an acceptable replacement for “fresh tomato paste”? i used half as purée is double strength but would probably reduce that to a third next time.

Easy to prepare; it did take a little longer than other spice mixes i’ve used, but was definitely worth it. it made the best butter chicken i’ve cooked at home, and the taste equalled that of a curry house.
