Tasty, but hard to get the right quantity to add to pasta. easy to put too much in.

Good flavour, and more intense than others so a little goes a long way.

My grandchildren love pasta with pesto when they are at home so i thought i’d treat them to an authentic high quality brand when they came to visit. none of them would eat it! they didn’t like the taste! i think they just preferred the ‘own brand ‘ they were used to because i used it up as a topping on chicken and on salmon and my husband and i enjoyed the food very much. i stirred the last remaining bit through a plain green salad and it gave it a real uplift. so lesson learned! in our case it appealed to mature palates rather than developing palates.

Expensive but tasted really good, strong taste meant you didn’t need to use as much per portion of pasta i felt, so that helps distribute the cost more too making it not as bad

I only rate 4 out of five as homemade is inevitably better, but i do use good pesto as an absolute kitchen staple.

This is the best pesto on the market. wouldn't buy anything else
