This fabulous fish dish is sure to get your taste buds dancing. The easy to follow recipe uses Napolina rich tomato & basil sauce alongside fennel and olives to bring the best out of the sea bass.
SEA BASS IN TOMATO & BASIL SAUCE WITH FENNEL
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
3 x tbsp Napolina Garlic Flavoured Olive Oil
1 x fennel bulb, halved and thinly sliced
1 x red onion, thinly sliced
4 x small whole sea bass, cleaned and scaled
350g jar Napolina Tomato & Basil Sauce
100g Napolina Black Olives
400g Napolina Egg Pappardelle or other pasta of choice
5 x tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/gas 5. In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and fry the fennel and onion over a high heat for 5 minutes, until golden. Set aside to cool completely.
2. Cut the heads off the sea bass, trim the tails and slash the skins. Use the fennel and onion to stuff the cavities.
3. Pour the tomato & basil sauce into a large ovenproof dish and add the olives. Place the fish on top, spooning some of the sauce over the fish. Bake for 30 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a pan of salted water, until al dente. Drain and return to the pan with the remaining oil and parsley. Serve the pasta with the fish.

Tangy tomato and basil sauce, decent for simple home dishes.
Great tomato sauce, perfect to throw over pasta and some veggies. the best bit is it can be served hot and cold!
Delicious but a little pricey for a pasta sauce
Great taste, lovely in a veggie spaghetti bolognese but would only buy when on offer
