Thick and creamy Benecol® Greek Style Yogurt contains plant stanols shown to lower cholesterol by 7-10% in 2-3 weeks. Enjoy 2 servings daily with a meal, for a deliciously smart way to lower your cholesterol.
*Plant stanol ester has been shown to lower cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease. A daily intake of 1.5-2.4g of plant stanols has been shown to lower cholesterol by 7-10% in 2 to 3 weeks. Each serving in this pot contains 1.0g so that's why 2 servings of yogurt a day is recommended when consumed daily with a main meal and as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle including your '5 a day'. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5-3g plant stanols. More than 3g of plant stanols per day is not recommended.

I don't often buy fruit yogurts, preffering to add fresh fruit to plain yogurt. however this product was well-balanced with the right amount of fruit vs. thick yogurt. i'd buy it as an occasional treat. it's apparently good in reducing cholesterol and the pot is equivalent to 4 portions. so good value as well.
