Davidstow Crackler is typically matured for 18 to 24 months.
It is intense yet pleasantly sweet, with added layers of complexity and concentrated bursts of flavour due to the naturally occurring calcium lactate crystals that the cheese acquires with age, giving it a slight crunch.

Absolutely amazing cheese, so lovely and strong, the taste was incredible, just very pricey for the size of the block, will definitely buy it a lot when it is on offer!
Such a lovely product. crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth, flavoursome cheese that’s perfects to enjoy on its own or with crackers and it feels special.

Loved the creamy, crumble taste and texture of this cheese. used it in different formats (on a sandwich an melted into a cheese sauce) and it worked well. the flavour its lovely for a mature cheese and this will be one to add to my cheese board at christmas.
