Davidstow Crackler is typically matured for 18 to 24 months.
It is intense yet pleasantly sweet, with added layers of complexity and concentrated bursts of flavour due to the naturally occurring calcium lactate crystals that the cheese acquires with age, giving it a slight crunch.

This cheddar was tried as part of a promotion and it didn’t disappoint. it was a quality cheese and packed full of flavour. improvement on my usual supermarket purchase. i do look at price and usually look for offers but will certainly keep my eye out for thedavidstow brand.
