Made from milk collected locally near our cheese factory in Northwest France. Our master cheesemakers take time and great care producing and maturing the French Camembert cheese.
Le Rustique Camembert continues to ripen with time, so you can enjoy it however you choose. Read the diagrams on the wrap for more information.
Baked Le Rustique Camembert:
- Let the cheese rest for 30 minutes out of the fridge
- Remove the cheese from its packaging and place in an oven proof dish
- Score the top and sprinkle with garlic and thyme
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until melted
- Serve with crusty French baguette

Everyone loved it, great taste and very creamy
A good for sharing with friends and family when entertaining. definitely preferred hot, straight from the oven, with toasted baguette, or sourdough bread, maybe even ciabbatta bread. the only two things i'd say as a disadvantage to the cheese is it stinks out the fridge, but i guess that's the appeal, and the other thing is, i kept the cheese in the bottom half of it's container after all necessary packaging was removed and the sauce came out through the sides as the heat expanded the cheese ot also expanded the container. we all enjoyed this once in a blue moon treat.
I accidentally ate it in one sitting with my husband.
