Really tasty and the texture was good.
I hate trying new veggie meats as so many taste weird but this intrigued me as there aren't steak types out there i know of except the yucky quorn one. it was delicious. i put it in a stew i make with leftover chilli and when i say it feels like meat i mean it feels just like meat having been soaked in the chilli juice in the slow cooker. reminded me of when we had beef stew when i was young. even my meat obsessed partner enjoyed it.
This brand have absolutely nailed taste and texture of their products. i regularly enjoy their burgers but this was the first time i’d tried the steak pieces. they were absolutely delicious - i had them in a crusty ciabatta roll with fried onions and a dab of blue cheese dressing. amazing.
